AFTER two weeks of intensive drills and learning, the British Council academy candidates will end their course with a mini cricket festival at Lugogo today.

AFTER two weeks of intensive drills and learning, the British Council academy candidates will end their course with a mini cricket festival at Lugogo today.
Twenty-three secondary school girls will become ambassadors of the game in their respective schools after undergoing a test today.
They are expected to conduct mini cricket matches to over 100 pupils from different primary schools in Kampala.
“They have been a wonderful lot determined to acquire cricket skills and I have no doubt they would become good ambassadors,†said academy co-ordinator Aisha Kagere.
