Mufti Tells Muslims To Be Calm During Idd

The Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubajje, has urged muslims be calm and law-abiding during the Idd-El-Adhuha celebrations on February 11.

The Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubajje, has urged muslims be calm and law-abiding during the Idd-El-Adhuha celebrations on February 11.
Mubajje’s call was contained in a message he sent over the telephone on Thursday, from the Holy city of Mecca.
He is in Mecca performing Hajj, according to a statement issued by the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council director of Sharia, Sheikh Hussein Rajab Kakooza.
Kakooza said Idd-El-Adhuha prayers at the UMSC headquarters in old Kampala will start at 8:00am. The deputy Mufti, Sheikh Twaib Mukuye, is expected to lead the prayers.
He will be assisted by Sheikh Kakooza and other high-ranking Sheikhs.
