KCC and Express look set to exchange several players, with out of favour goalkeeper Abdu Salim Magoola expected to be the focus of attention when the mid-season transfers start today.

“We want a mature goalkeeper and he (Salim) looks to be mature. I have not finalised (talks) with him but I hope he will help us,” said KCC coach Abbey Nasur,

KCC are also eyeing Police’s Geoffrey Sserunkuma, Kenyan international Bernard Mwalala of Nzoia and winger Kadogo Alimansi.

Express in turn are eyeing KCC’s Khisa Jalendo and fellow midfielder Noah Kasule.

“I can confirm that we are finalising talks with Jalendo and Kasule,” Express coach Leo Adraa confirmed yesterday.

SC Villa, another usual big player in the transfers, are tight-lipped.

“We are going through an injury spell but we are contented with our squad. If we lose some more good players, we will be compelled to join the market,” said Villa’s administration manager Omar Mandela.
