Ugandans use herbs

KAMPALA — About 70% of Ugandans rely on herbal medicine for treatment, Mrs. Kate Kikule the acting senior inspector of drugs of the National Drug Authority (NDA) said yesterday.
KAMPALA — About 70% of Ugandans rely on herbal medicine for treatment, Mrs. Kate Kikule the acting senior inspector of drugs of the National Drug Authority (NDA) said yesterday. Kikule said the herbs are consumed both in their raw or processed forms, with some of them being sold at drug outlets. She was speaking recently at a national forum on the use of drugs in Kampala.
