CELTEL Uganda have unveiled plans to increase its mobile phone network coverage in Kampala, by erecting 10 new base stations in and around the city centre.

Lars Andersen, the firm’s managing director, said the majority of their customers are located within Kampala.

“About 20,000 of our 35,000 customers are situated within Kampala. Yet sometimes we get network glitches, because of the big density and geographical location of the city,” he said last week.
