Shallow End robbed, lover commits suicide

It was a bad two weeks for the Shallow End pub in Ntinda, a sister pub to The Deep and the place where Amanda's Angels started off their career. Last week, somebody broke into the music room and took off with all the disco equipment, including computers.

Two of the waiters on duty that night are still in jail for that. And then last Sunday, a girlfriend of one of the deejays committed suicide when he brought another girl to the dance that night.

She was eight months pregnant. The deejay also ended up in jail for his efforts.
