New courses at Kyambogo
KAMPALA – Kyambogo University has introduced 12 new courses this year, the university secretary, M.G. Katusabe-Ssemwezi, said in a circular recently. He said the programmes include the Bachelor of Arts in economics, Bachelor of Science in building economics and Environmental Science.

Pader eyes excellence
PADER – Pader LC5 chairman has urged teachers to ensure good academic performance despite the LRA insurgency there. Addressing headteachers at the district headquarters recently, Komakec said rebels had persistently frustrated the UPE programme in the district.

Men fail to visit children
MPIGI – Mpigi men have been accused of failure to visit their children at school. Mayor Abbey Wasswa Mukatuliki was speaking at the sports day for Aidah and Topher primary school recently.
