THE Government has authorised the Constitutional Review Commission (CRC) to print copies of its report for distribution, the secretary has said, reports John Kakande.

Speaking to The New Vision on Friday, Dr Higiro Semajege said, “People like you (the press) will certainly get a copy.”

But he said printing the copies would take time and the distribution might not be immediate. Semajege laughed off reports that there was a minority report by members who disagreed with the final report.

The CRC on December 10, handed over the report to Constitutional Affairs minister Hajat Janat Mukwaya, at an unpublicised ceremony.

This sparked off an outcry that there was a hidden agenda to doctor the report.

But information minister Nsaba Buturo denied the allegations.

Atorney General Francis Ayume said the report would go to the Cabinet beofre any action.
