The Best Dressed Woman
Out of 72 contestants, the best-dressed woman is the Sylvia Nagginda with 1,280 votes. The runner up is Janet Museveni voted by 879. Her daughter Natasha Karugire takes the third position with 74 votes. The rest of the contestants received less than 70 votes each with some as getting only one vote.

The Best Dressed Man
Hon. State minister of Health Capt. Mike Mukula beat 54 candidates to take the crown with 1,164 votes. Lt. Gen Elly Tumwine comes second with 456, followed by the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Mutebi with 233 votes, while 129 thought Museveni is best dressed.

The Worst Dressed Man
He competed but did not make to the top for the best man and worst man. But he finally took the lead for the worst dressed. This is Ken Lukyamuzi. Out of 60 contenders he led with 893. State minister of agriculture

Hon. Kibirige Sebunya takes the second position with 314 votes. Third is former Presidential Advisor Maj. Roland Kakooza Mutale with 204 votes.

The Worst Dressed Woman
The Lira Municipality MP, Hon Cecilia Ogwal takes the title. She competed with 48 women and led with 506 votes. Former ethics and integrity Minister Hon. Miria Matembe takes the second position with 453 votes. Specioza Kazibwe with 72 votes follows.

Best TV presenter
Thirty two competed. however, most readers did not show much enthusiasm in this slot. Even some of those who did, picked guests on some TV talk shows and not the presenters or hosts. Nevertheless, the majority votes (567) went to Dennis Mawanda of WBS. Irene Kulabako of UTV takes second position with 291. John Kazoora of WBS is third with 290.

Best Radio presenter
The winner is Alex Ndaula of Capital FM. The competition was stiff with 105 competitors but he managed to pull 575 votes. Runner up is Meddie Nsereko Sebuliba of CBS with 248 votes. The third is one DJ Ronnie of Capital FM, who got 155 votes.

Best Radio News Reader
It is non other than Kaddu Mukasa of CBS. With 460 votes he beat 82 competitors. The runner up is Dembe FM’s Aisha Sematiko with 385 votes. Following is Bale Francis with 250.

Best TV Newsreader
Only 28 were mentioned. Out of whom Bbaale Francis of UTV emerged winner with a whopping 2,016 votes. The runner up is Brenda Nabiryo of WBS with 90 votes. With 50 votes Beatrice Akello of WBS takes the third position.

The Football Club
Although readers had several nominations to this slot the Best and Worst 2003 team decided not to name any football club the best because of the shame and scandals that dominated Uganda football this year.

Best Footballer of the year
2003 was a year of sadness in Uganda football that we cannot even think about the best player. Readers voted but the Best and Worst team chose to steer away from football issues this year.

Football match
Ugandan football was simply despicable this year. So the Best and Worst team in its wisdom did not want the readers vote to exonerate the mismanagement of the game, alleged match fixing and fraud.

Best Musician (International)
R. Kelly beats over 120 musicians with 394 votes. Runner up is Celine Dion with 345. Third is South African Lucky Dube with 216 votes.

Best Musician (Local)
It was a race that attracted 58 musicians. The title goes to Jose Chameleon with 1,003 votes. The runner up is Pastor George Okudi with 640 votes. He also had 16 voting him among the international musicians and also failed to top local musicians.
