NEBBI - The Police are hunting for three suspected armed thugs who robbed Sizario Ozelle, a businessman, of sh3m. Ronald Kamya, the officer in-charge of Paida Police Station, said Godwin Oweki, 28, from Owinyopyelo village and two others still at large, had an AK-47 assault rifle. They shot at Ozelle and injured him before taking off with the cash. The Police recovered three cartridges at the scene.
Sub-counties to get computers
APAC - All the 15 sub-counties in the district will be allocated computers, the chief administrative officer, Paul Walakira, has said. He was speaking at a ceremony to hand-over 15 computers and sh100m to district officials. The computers, which were donated by the District Livelihood Support Programme, will be powered by solar energy.
