There was chaos on Monday afternoon at the constitutional square when a young man nabbed his girlfriend over stolen property.
The unidentified woman had earlier swept clean the house the two lived in. Unknown to the woman, her lover had trailed her with a policeman and nabbed her.
The furious young man searched her belongings pulling out his lost treasure to the amusement of on lookers.
An elderly lady hurled insults at the woman: “Let your parents know that they produced a thief, a disgrace.â€
Trapped, with nowhere to run, the woman tried to make a call and fought fearlessly when the policeman stopped her.
Humiliated, she collapsed in a heap and sobbed like a baby.
