CECAFA champions Uganda will have ample rest before facing hosts Sudan in a Khartoum friendly tomorrow.

Sudan’s soccer governing body extended the match by a day to allow the visitors enough recovery time after a five-hour journey that
included a stop over in Nairobi.

“The Cranes will with the new arrangement have time to also try out the pitch,” explained acting Federation of Uganda Football
Associations Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson.

The 25-man Cranes contingent
that left yesterday will after the 8pm friendly leave the Sudan capital on Sunday morning.

The hosts, who availed Uganda with 25 tickets, are building up for the final stage of the South Africa
2010 World Cup qualifiers.

The match is one of several build-ups planned by FUFA to keep the Cranes busy ahead of their next
competitive continental matches in late 2010.

Watson revealed that a Ugandan club would under the same arrangement also travel to Khartoum for a friendly.
