POLICE boss Maj. Gen. Kale Kayihura has made more changes in the top Police administration. The commandant of the Rapid Response Unit (RRU), David Magara, has been appointed deputy director of crime intelligence at the CID headquarters.

In the changes announced on Wednesday, Magara takes over from Elly Womanya, who moves to Interpol and Peace and Support Operations to deputise Fred Kiyaga, the new director.

Seven commissioners have been affected by the move.

Police publicist Judith Nabakooba yesterday said Benson Oyo Nyeko, who had been in-charge of human resource management, is now the deputy director human resource development headed by Richard Bisherure.

Other officers are Moses Muzihiri Balimwoyo of the CID headquarters, who is replaced by Moses Sakira, who will work under Edward Ochom.

Grace Turyagumanawe, the chief of the Anti-Stock Safety Unit in Karamoja, returns as deputy director operations, while Elly Womanya becomes deputy director Interpol, peace and support operations.
