CHAPTER 1 verse 27 of the book of James in the New Testament says, “the only true religion our Father accepts as pure and faultless is to look after widows and orphans in their distress,”

Thus it was through following this verse in the bible that Ronald Kibedi and his In Christ Gospel Promotion Ministries decided to put a smile on the faces of the less privileged during the Easter season.

The first stop was at Sanyu babies home where the ministries in partnership with Unilever gave a number of goodies to the babies. It was joyful to watch as the members of the ministries struggled to feed biscuits to the babies.

However, what really got everyone smiling was to see the look on some of the babies’ faces as Kibedi and Shem Mugambwa, the events manager of Unilever struggled to talk to the babies in baby language.

“Though our gifts are little, it is a noble campaign that can bring a smile to the less privileged during this festive season as we celebrate the death and resurrection of our lord,” Kibedi noted.

Other care centres that benefited from the donation included Nsambya babies’ home, Katalemwa Cheshire home, Naguru Remand Home, Butabika Hospital and Mother Mangeri home in Kajjansi.

Others were Dwelling places in Rubaga, Aids child in Kayabwe, Mastered seeds in Hoima and Kampiringisa remand home.
