The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has called for the supply of electrical materials from interested bidders under a framework agreement.

According to the CAA website www.caa.co.ug there will be a pre-bid meeting on May 6 and site visit thereafter to enable potential bidders appreciate the scope of the requirements and get other clarifications.

The CAA is a government entity responsible for the promotion of safe, secure and development of civil aviation.

EADB to value assets

The East African Development Bank (EADB) is to value its assets in all the countries where it operates.
According to the bank’s website, www.eadb.org, assets to be valued include real estates, plant, equipment and machinery.
The bank, therefore, needs competent and reputable valuation firms in each member state to provide the services.
It said firms should submit proposals with their profiles and they should have a minimum of five years experience.
The bank aims at providing development and investment capital to members. These are Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi.
