THE Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Authority (PPDA) has started an electronic newsletter.

Edgar Agaba, the executive director, said the newsletter was established in a bid to reach more stakeholders.

The newsletter, he said, would be published on a quarterly basis. The first issue run from January to March.

Dora Egunyu, the PPDA spokesperson and the newsletter editor, said they used to an ordinary newsletter, but it had a limited reach.

Agaba pointed out in the issue that the authority had registered progress in its campaign for transparency.

“Many entities are submitting monthly reports on time, especially in the central Government,” he said.

He observed that stationery, furniture, foodstuffs, medical sundries and agricultural tools were some of the areas the authority had identified for specific standardisation.
