SC VILLA fans have demanded for an elective assembly before the next season starts as one of the avenues of re-organising the club. The 2009/10 Uganda Super League kicks off on September 12.

The fans are of the viewa that a re-organised side will be able to return to the international scene after a long spell.

The fans say that they have a stake in the club, but do not know who the club’s actual leaders are and whether those who passed away were replaced.

“We need to know who our leaders are. We need to have an elective assembly before the season starts,” fans mobiliser Dennis Mbidde said after meeting his colleagues on Saturday.

“We need better administration at the club which is not based on voluntary ways but on professionalism.

“We need to have a fully paid CEO and technical team to run the club.”

Mbidde had earlier attacked some of the fans for grumbling over petty issues.
The official said fans should instead offer proposals on how the club, a dominant force past can move forward.
