DR. Ezra Suruma, the presidential adviser for finance and planning is to start lecturing at the Africa Bible University, Lubowa.

DR. Ezra Suruma, the presidential adviser for finance and planning is to start lecturing at the Africa Bible University, Lubowa.

He will teach in the newly launched business programme, at the university, which features courses in economics, accounting, marketing, business law, and financial management, among others. The university’s registrar, Joanna Robertson remarked: “The university is honoured that Suruma will be the part of the teaching staff.”

Suruma, the former finance minister, is an experienced economist and banker, with a doctorate in economics. He earlier served as the deputy governor of Bank of Uganda.

The university started in 2005, to cater for students interested in gospel ministry, business, education and media, among other fields. The final entrance exam for the September intake is this Saturday at the campus.
