PROLINE Academy have been accused by soccer governing body FUFA of trying to sabotage the league kick-off by taking them to court.

FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa made the allegation on Sunday and said his executive will meet today to discuss the implications of the case.

“They (Proline) took us to court so that sponsors run away. They didn’t want the league to kick off to disorganise football,” Mulindwa charged.

The High Court dismissed the case in which Proline Academy director Mujib Kasule applied for an injunction on FUFA activities because his merger with Nalubaale was halted. Mujib also argued that the FUFA executive are working illegally.

Kasule has vowed to re-apply for the injunction. “My lawyers are finalising the paperwork,” he said yesterday.
