Last week, we revealed on these pages that Salabed International Forex Bureau, a popular money-sending and cargo transfer company for Ugandans on kyeyo in London, was robbed at gunpoint by unknown assailants.

Last week, we revealed on these pages that Salabed International Forex Bureau, a popular money-sending and cargo transfer company for Ugandans on kyeyo in London, was robbed at gunpoint by unknown assailants.

The company lost a whooping sh15b in the robbery.
Salabed is owned by Ugandan businessmen Hussein Bohaiti, Shuckery and Yusuf Mazrui, who also owns Club Volts discotheques in Uganda and in the UK.

Now latest info reaching us has it that the Edmonton based Club Volts, London has been sold and the new proud owners are a parnership of nightclub guru William Lule of Pier One and Dr Frank Kiyimba, the Director of London Training College.

We hear the management is set to hand over to the new owners in January, according to an insider, but the old management is holding it for the time being.
