Cricket team for Kenya trip named Monday

NATIONAL cricket coach Ebrahim Mohammed will name his final team on Monday, after he sees his charges in competitive action for the first time in about two months times.

NATIONAL cricket coach Ebrahim Mohammed will name his final team on Monday, after he sees his charges in competitive action for the first time in about two months times.

The national cricket team is travelling to Kenya December 13 for three one day international and two Twenty20 games as they prepare for their inter-continental shield match away to UAE in Dubai January 20, 2010.

Mohammed- who came back in the country over the weekend after completing his course - is set to lead the team to Kenya for a number of international friendly matches.

Yesteday, the team had an anti doping session at Lugogo. He will be on the sidelines watching the team play in a Twenty20 game today at Lugogo.

Mohammed will also watch the final league matches involving Tornado, ACC, the teams with most players expected to be named on the national team.
