<b>Man held on defilement</b><br>TORORO-The Police have held a man over defiling an 11-year-old girl. Obou Obwaga, 25, is said to have defiled the girl on her way to a shop at 9:00pm on January 2. He allegedly grabbed the girl and gagged her.

TORORO-The Police have held a man over defiling an 11-year-old girl. Obou Obwaga, 25, is said to have defiled the girl on her way to a shop at 9:00pm on January 2. He allegedly grabbed the girl and gagged her. Passersby rescued her after their attention was attracted by her muffled groans. Obwaga was apprehended as he tried to flee. A medical report confirmed that the victim had been defiled.
Three bodies recovered
KAMULI-The Police have recovered three bodies on Lake Kyoga. “Two of the bodies have been identified as those of Tasobola and Ronald of Mahuma village, whose boat capsized while they where fishing on Tuesday last week. The other body was of Majaso Mudumba of Batagaya sub-county in Jinja district,†the district Police commander, Frank Abalawuwe, said.
