“IT is a miracle and I thank the Almighty God for this achievement,” said 19-year-old David Alinda. He said he was playing computer games when his aunt, Jennipher Kibirango, broke the news of his results to him at their home in Nakibizi in Mbiko.

Alinda, a student of Seeta High school got aggregate 13.

“I have been good in class since primary. I was always among the best eight and when I joined O’ level, I expected to do well.”

The third-born in a family of five, Alinda attributed his success to God, his family and his school. He said he wanted to be a pilot and hopes to go to Ntare School.
He encouraged his fellow students, who did not make it, not to lose hope.

Kibirango said she was in the market shopping when her husband called her to inform her about Alinda’s results.
