KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has reviewed its charges, adopting a zero commission structure. “Under the zero commission structure, travel agents will charge only a service fee for the services provided and KLM will charge a ticketing fee on all bookings made through our reservations and ticketing offices,” the airlines said in a statement.

The airline also said it would not charge any fee for bookings made via the Internet. This, it said, was to offer customers competitive fares. The airlines flies to 248 destinations in 104 countries, transporting 73 million passengers a year.
