A MAKERERE University student yesterday won sh250,000 in the Cashlines game, becoming the eighth winner since its launch at the beginning of the month.

Joel Lukyamuzi’s cash prize, which he got at the company headquarters in Kampala, brings the amount of money given out so far to sh1.65m.
Lukyamuzi, a third year Bachelor of Environmental Science student, said he was not successful in the previous games.

“I am very happy that I have won this time,” he said before receiving his prize from the company circulation manager, Danny Kawuma.

Despite his shoestring budget, Lukyamuzi buys The New Vision daily.
“I visit the company website when I cannot buy a copy,” said a smiling Lukyamuzi.

He loves the sports section, international and entertainment news.
“I thank the company for giving us an opportunity to get some money,” he added. A total of sh18.3m is still up for grabs, according to Kawuma.

Kawuma called for more participation, adding that free game cards were still available at the head office and advertising offices in Kampala, kiosks and agents countrywide.

To play, one has to buy a copy of The New Vision and go to page two where a list of winning numbers will be published.
A reader will then have to circle all numbers on the card that correspond with those in the advertisement.

One becomes a winner if all numbers on any horizontal Cashlines has been circled.

Readers can use as many cards as possible to play. Agents countrywide will also give out game cards. Bonus tokens on the advertisement have to be cut and pasted on the space provided at the back of the card.

All numbers for a particular week and bonus token will be published every Sunday.
