WORLD 5000m bronze medallist Moses Kipsiro will take on Tariku Bekele for the fourth time this season when they meet in the last leg of the IAAF Golden league 5000m in Brussels.

Kipsiro, who has enjoyed a fruitful season, will have his last rehearsal ahead of the World Athletics final when he meets Tariku — Kenenisa Bekele’s younger brother — in the memorial meet.
Kipsiro has beaten Bekele in three of the four meetings, two of them earning him a gold medal at the All Africa Games in Algeria and a bronze medal at the World Athletics Championships in Osaka, Japan early this month.

With seasoned athletes Kenyans Yusuf Biwot, Joseph Ebuya, Eliud Kipchoge and Shadrack Kosgei, Australia’s Craig Mottram, Ethiopians Salhe Betona and Silesh Sihine and Eritrean Kidane Tadese in the race, Kipsiro will aim to improve his personal best of 13:01.88min to under 13 minutes.
