A 20-year-old house wife on Saturday night gave birth to triplets in Lira Hospital.
Milly Acen, a resident of Kakoge B, Ojwina Division in Lira municipality, delivered a baby boy and two girls normally.

Nurses at the hospital said the babies and their mother were in good health and would be discharged after receiving doses of Vitamin A.
The first baby weighed 3.2kg, the second one was 3kg and the third weighed 3.2kg.

“This is the work of God because I didn’t know my wife would give birth to triplets because I was told she would have twins,” said Bernard Musoga, 22, a mechanic.

Musoga has appealed for assistance to help him support the triplets, saying the money would be used to buy milk.
“I am requesting well-wishers to deposit whatever little money they can onto my Barclays Bank Lira branch account number 8115376 or contact me on 077-4190402,” Musoga said.
