THE Afrika Divas Music (ADM) Awards’ activations begin this weekend in Mukono at Jobiah Hotel.
Over 20 upcoming female singers including Bela, Phinato, Chilli Gals and Leila among others have registered for the competition and Fina Mugerwa a.k.a Masanyalaze will be performing.
The second tour will be in Masaka on July 25. Kagwa Kalule, the chairman organising committee ADM Awards, says entrants will not be judged during the tours or selected as nominees.
“We shall take their work and details and later be looked at by our expert panel of judges who will nominate them,†he says.
Other established divas will be voted by the public, the media and music experts.
