UGANDA Rugby Union (URU) chairman William Blick is confident the Rugby Cranes will beat Kenya in the Elgon Cup return leg in Kampala.

An excited Blick made the remarks shortly after Nile Breweries committed sh45m to the Rugby Cranes at Lugogo yesterday. “Previously Kenya has dominated the Elgon Cup with over 20-point wins at home, but this time it is an eight-point deficit. With this Nile Special boost, we shall lift the Elgon Cup,” said a cocky Blick.

“At Nile Breweries we are committed to supporting sports and have been waiting for this opportunity to come. We are starting with the Elgon Cup but if the opportunity permits, we shall extend our sponsorship to the league too,” Nile Breweries brand manager Timothy Kayondo said.
