SOCCER - Football body FUFA chief executive Edgar Watson and national teams physician Ronald Kisolo will attend a FIFA medical network conference October 5-10 in Zurich, Switzerland. The conference will discuss modern medical practices and the dangers affecting sportsmen. Watson will represent FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa, while Kisolo will travel in his capacity as member of the medical committee.

Edgars invited
SOCCER - Uganda soccer academy Edgars is among several foreign teams that have confirmed participation in the Pwani Under 17 tournament December 7-14 at Shanzu Teachers College in Mombasa, Kenya. Other foreign teams expected for the showcase includes Echo Foot from the DR Congo and Street Academy and Rolling Stone from Tanzania. Tournament organiser Ricky Solomon appealed to Kenyan Premier League clubs to enter their junior clubs to give it more impetus.
