LIRA-The First Deputy Prime Minister has urged local governments to champion East African integration to insure prosperity and improve the quality of life. Eriya Kategaya said this in a speech read by the Minister of Land, Housing and Urban Development, Daniel Atubo, at a regional workshop for local leaders at Lira Hotel on Saturday.

ACCA students donate books
GULU-Students of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts delivered 600 accounting and audit textbooks to Gulu University and relief items to 5,000 internally displaced persons. The university secretary, Vincent Mboti, noted that the contribution would boost the morale of the students pursuing business administration and thanked the students for the donations.
