FOR 15 years and counting, Sanyu FM has rocked Kampala and most recently, Mbale. Last Wednesday, their staff including general manager, Betsy Mugamba, newsreader Kibombo, presenters Fatboy, Melanie, Big Ben, Val and Crystal joined their listeners in Angenoir Discotheque to see off the year.
By 8.20pm, an hour after the opening time, the crowd, which comprised mainly young people, had turned up in droves. The highlight of the evening though was rising “Uga ragga†sensation, Raba Daba’s performance.
He had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hands, singing his popular songs Bwekiri ,/i>and Mukyamu. He would pose a bit and let the crowd complete a line or two.
Sylvester, of the Sylvester and Abramz duo, ex-Dream Girls’ singer Renah, Lethal, OS and Project Samm also performed. Navio and the Good Lyfe crew did not show up but that did not stop fans from enjoying themselves.
