ANDREW Muhumuza lost his father in 2004 when he was in S.1 but that made him to even work harder.
The student of St. Henry’s College Kitovu in Masaka district scored aggregate eight in the best eight subjects.
Muhumuza, who was accompanied by his mother Lydia Ndyanabangi and paternal uncle, Barnabas Tumwesigye to The New Vision offices on Saturday said: “It was by God’s wish that I made it. I am very happy,†he said.
“I have been struggling hard to ensure that my children get educated,†Ndyanabangi said of her five children.
Muhumuza intends to study physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics at A’Level and ultimately become a medical doctor.
