SELLING tickets to the Ghana versus Cameroon game at the Ohen Djan Stadium has suddenly turned out to be the most lucrative business on the streets of Accra.

Police were called in yesterday to quell protesting Ghanaian fans at the three officially recognised ticket selling centres, where ticket prices have been inflated by unregistered touts.

The cheapest ticket that was at $4 (sh6,800) previously has escalated to $10.

“It’s unfair. We will not look on and be cheated,” an angry fan protested.

A 45,000-capacity crowd is expected to turn up to watch the quality and invention of Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, Samuel Eto’o and Alexandre Song.

The semi-final between Ghana and Cameroon, could rest solely on the duel between a balding a Chelsea stalwart in the white corner and an electric number nine in the crimson and green.
