ROAD RUNNING - Two hundred participants are expected to take part in the Hashers’ Seven Hills Run this Sunday starting at 7am at Nsambya Youth Sharing Hall. The 21Km run will proceed to Kibuli, Nakasero, Old Kampala, Namirembe, Rubaga, Lubiri and back to Nsambya.
“Kampala Hash House Harriers is a group of Kampalans who gather every Monday at 6pm to run off the stress of work” said the events manager Kampala Hash House Harriers, Jimmy Busulwa, who is also one of the organisers of the run.

Women meet
SOCCER - After the late cancellation of their would be international game against Tanzania women a fortnight ago, the FUFA women football standing committee has organised a two-day women tournament next month to keep women soccer active. According to Florence Nkalubo, the FUFA vice president in charge of women soccer, the tournament aimed at tapping talent for She-Kobs will see competition in the U-13, U-16 and open categories.

Schools 15s
RUGBY - St. Mary’s College Kisubi beat Comboni College 29-9 to go top of Group B in the schools 15s rugby tournament on Saturday. Group B comprises of Namilyango, Budo, Kisubi, Comboni and St. Lawrence Greenland. Kisubi started their campaign by beating St. Lawrence Greenland Campus 9-7 on February 17. Steven Kasozi set the visitors on the victory path with a try that was converted by Muhammad Omara as they got seven points in 15 minutes of the game.
