US  coach praises Kampala academy

AMERICAN football coach Daniel Ridenhour has said that Ugandan youths have the potential to play at a professional level. Ridenhour explained over the weekend that the youngsters should be encouraged to realise their dreams.

AMERICAN football coach Daniel Ridenhour has said that Ugandan youths have the potential to play at a professional level. Ridenhour explained over the weekend that the youngsters should be encouraged to realise their dreams.
The coach, who has been in Uganda for two weeks, left yesterday after conducting coaching clinics that attracted over 100 participants under the Uganda Youth Soccer Academy at Nakasero primary school.
The coach handed over an assortment of equipment to the director of the academy Ivan Kakembo who promised that the equipment will be put to proper use.
Ridenhour is assistant coach at Winthrop University in South Carolina where the equipment came from.
