APAC district officials have failed to account for over sh7bn, which has prompted the MPs to order for a special re-audit into the misappropriation of the funds.

APAC district officials have failed to account for over sh7bn, which has prompted the MPs to order for a special re-audit into the misappropriation of the funds.
The Parliamentary committee on Local Government Accounts also recommended the suspension of Apac district Chief Administrative Officer, Stanley Adrabo and the Chief Financial Officer, Gapson Ogwal.
The officers, who appeared before the committee to answer queries raised in the Auditor General’s report, failed to account for the money.
