CANADIAN group of schools Pont Gray has donated sports equipment worth sh12m to Africa Youth Ministries, a local NGO that promotes children’s health through sports.

CANADIAN group of schools Pont Gray has donated sports equipment worth sh12m to Africa Youth Ministries, a local NGO that promotes children’s health through sports.
The schools director of athletics Mike Allina handed over the equipment that included footballs, nets, uniforms and pumps to Africa Youth Ministries founder Albert Kiruhira in Kireka on Friday.
Kiruhira stressed that the equipment was to promote football among girls in Gulu, Kitgum, Jinja, Iganga, Rakai, Wakiso, Adjuman, Hoima and Kampala. He said schools which run girls football stood more chances of benefiting from the project.
Allina, explained that their help was aimed at establishing permanent relations with Ugandans.
"This is a sign that relationship between Ugandans and our people is to last. It will change the course of history. We at continue to donate as long as the equipment reaches the girls,†Allina stressed.
