Is it common for moneyed people to flaunt their every accomplishment on the Internet for the whole world to see? Well, I guess that depends on who you are talking about. Self-styled billionaire Michael Ezra has no problem sharing “certain aspects of his life online to check the intrigue and controversy often touted by the media, particularly in Uganda.”

Oh, and also to correspond with us, the public.
To this end, he has established a website, www.michaelezra.name.2008 On the site, we are reminded that Ezra has “bragging rights” to a number of achievements and that he can confidently say that “in spite of my youth, I have attained the goals I set out to achieve.”

So, one by one, they are listed including his various humanitarian acts just in case we forget just how much he has bailed out the underpreviledged.

Amongst the milestones mentioned is the fact that in mid-2004, he made the Government a $30m offer to purchase the national stadium at Namboole to profitably manage it; the $100,000 he paid the Cranes despite the fact that they did not qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana this year; the fact the he won the Emirates on-board auction of the exclusive Montblanc chronograph centennial watch at $250,000 and his famous £60m bid for English Premiership team Leeds United.

The site also details his efforts to improve athletes and boxing in Uganda plus details of his personal life and how to contact him.
