DEVELOP your talents instead of hunting for jobs, graduands have been told.
“Each of you has a God given talent which you should use for self-development,” Joseph Mukasa, the director of Do It Virtual Institute, Namugongo, said at the graduation ceremony of 120 students recently.

He urged the graduands to join hands and do business. The graduands received diplomas in Urban Planning.

“Use the skills you have acquired to better yourselves and the societies you live in,” Mukasa said.

Sarah Mwebe, the chairperson of the Sarah Mwebe Foundation, an entrepreneurship support project, urged the graduands to beware of loan sharks who target people who rely on begging. “As much as asking for funding or loans is good for development, do not over do it,” she said.
