Morris is a victim of his good looks

Thanks to the fake nominations we now know who Morris’ real friends are. And thanks to them too the Ugandan is now putting up a more remarkable show in the Big Brother house.

On Tuesday night, he engaged housemates in a particularly attention-grabbing story about a girl stalker back home in Kampala, who kept his phone so busy he felt like changing his number. Before leaving for the M-Net reality show, Morris talked about the same girl, and shared with me weird erotic messages from the stalker.

Housemates couldn’t be more intrigued when he shared with them content of the messages, asking questions and wondering what went on in the stalker’s mind. Well, he might have suspended his hold-back strategy. But it’s not that it wasn’t working. It is working for Malawi’s Hazel and Nigeria’s Uti, who are not any different from Morris in terms of character.

Thing with Morris is that he is always the victim of his good looks – the looks that attracted the said stalker – the same looks that are causing him nomination problems. I mean, it is for his looks that Latoya, the Tanzanian girl, made a pass at him. And when he opened up his heart for her, two other housemates with the hots for Latoya hated it that the Ugandan was beating them at it. One of them is Ricco, the Angolan with whom Morris has been bickering over Latoya. The other is Kenya’s Sheila – of course you know she likes girls as well, and recently confessed that if she is to get romantic with anyone, it would either be Latoya or Zambia’s TK. Is it surprising that Sheila and Ricco nominated Morris?

Also Mimi and Lucille’s reasons to nominate Morris could have been anything, but not that he doesn’t talk to them. Here’s why. First day in the house: Lucille likes Morris, asks him to share a bed with her and he refuses. She feels rejected and waits to take it out on the Ugandan – nominates him.

Last Sunday night, Morris is puzzled by his relationship with Latoya. Mimi asks Morris to join her in bed so they could talk. Morris refuses. Mimi feels jilted and wants to see Morris booted.

Isn’t this evidence enough that Morris is only a victim of his good looks, and not a boring housemate like some would claim? TK is the only person who nominated him without any emotional attachment, and didn’t say he nominated the Ugandan because he was boring, but rather, insensitive to him.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Uti on Tuesday rubbed it in Lucille’s face when he jokingly said Thami was a retard and Lucille took it personal because she has disabled people in her family.

For intervening, Uti abused her, ending all relations between the two. But fans on www.mnetafrica.co.za/bigbrother are behind Uti, branding Lucile an attention-seeking cry baby, who, after nominating Thami, wants to turn around and appease viewers. We know your tricks, pretty-face-no-brains.
