JACKSON Baluku will shoulder the goal scoring responsibility in his role as a lone striker when injury-hit Victors host Youfra in a Super Division soccer League match at Kakindu today.

Victors welcome Baluku for his first match this season following injuries to strikers Simon Serunkuuma, Julius Ongude and Andy Ndawula.

Coach Wasswa Bbosa is out not to falter against the newcomers who have scored four goals in five matches so far.
But Bbosa is aware that his team is yet to make an impact this season.

“It is true we have had problems with our concentration but we hope to overcome our injuries because it is time to take every game seriously,” Bbosa said yesterday.

Victors last lost a home league game to Simba (2-1) on May 11 and finished fifth last season but Bbosa is optimistic it is time for them to taste the Super League title victory.

Victors face the league newcomers without a loss in eight matches.
Youfra has dropped 12 points in their five games against Simba, KCC, Villa, Nalubaale and Bugerere. Youfra are second from bottom.

In the other game of the day, Sharing will be looking for their second win of the season when they host Mbarara United at Nakivubo.
