KOBS’ playmaker Allan Musoke who had been sidelined by a hamstring is fit for the uganda telecom Jinja Rugby 7s tournament this weekend. The event is the second leg of the 2008 uganda telecom 7s circuit.

Kobs coach Fred Mudoola said Musoke had fully recovered but Timothy Mudoola (shoulder) was still struggling. Edmund Tumusiime was due for a fitness test yesterday.

“We will definitely not risk fielding Edmund and Timothy this weekend. May be they will play later on in the circuit. We play as a team and players who are supposed to replace them have stepped up their game. We should be able to perform well,” Mudoola said.

The coach will have to choose between Allan Matsiko and Alfred Karikaho to step into Tumusiime’s boots. Mudoola, who plays as a forward in the 7s may be replaced by Joel Anguyo or Victor Wadia.

The coach singled out defending champions and rivals MTN Heathens as the team to beat in the circuit.

“Heathens have been dominant in the7s but they can be beaten. We will go all out for a win in Jinja,” the Kobs tactician remarked.
