BORN-AGAIN churches under the National Fellowship of Pentecostal Churches are to hold prayers.

“We as the church need to partner with the Government in fighting evil people like the rebels of the LRA and offer prayers for people involved in ritual murder,” the central province chairman, Pastor David Kiganda, said.

He said the third annual national prayer day would be held on December 31 at Nakivubo Stadium starting at 3.00pm.
Kiganda said this year’s prayer day would help to transform Ugandans from being job seekers to job creators.

“The country has experienced lots of problems this year, wars, domestic violence, ritual murder and poverty, all these need prayers,” Kiganda said.

He called upon pastors and believers to join the campaign against poverty by creating jobs especially for the youths.
“We are not going to shout and sing. But we are going to sensitise the believers on ways to improve their livelihood,” he said.
