Rubaga Division has had some of the highest incidences of missing persons. What is my MP, Betti Kamya doing about it?
I am aware of this problem. I have done so many things to ensure that my rights, and other people’s rights are not abused.
I even took this issue to Parliament and moved a motion for them to select a committee to investigate human rights abuse in Uganda. I attached a list of over 150 missing persons. I wanted the Government to explain who was responsible for abducting people and where they are taken.
However, this was unsuccessful. I have also used other forums, including the press, to list names of missing persons, calling for action. I am still pursuing the issue.

Where is the money?
How can we benefit from the Bonna Bagaggawale funds? Can the Minister for Microfinance answer?

The funds are already available and the Government is now working on modalities no how they should be accessed by the population. Communities should come together at sub-county level to start a cooperative group or any other development-oriented group. The group must have clear guidelines and plans, on what they are going to use the money for. There are going to be a lot of checks and balances and whoever misappropriates these funds will be dealt with under the law.

What is Kassanda South MP, Nyombi Thembo, doing to fight poverty and improve education standards in his area?
I have done so many things in that area ever since, and even before, I became MP. i have set up demonstration farms on which people come and learn better ways of agriculture. I have given out seeds to ensure that the people engage in productive agriculture.
As far as education is concerned, I have given out scholastic materials and helped construct several schools in the constituency.
