STEPHEN Matovu scored a hat-trick as Kampala Junior Team (KJT) beat hosts Uganda Junior League 3-2 in J-Super League over the weekend.

STEPHEN Matovu scored a hat-trick as Kampala Junior Team (KJT) beat hosts Uganda Junior League 3-2 in J-Super League over the weekend.

The soccer J-League is sponsored by Super Sport House and comprises 52 kids’ teams from around Kampala and Luweero.

Display maturity in the game, Matovu gave his U-7 team an early lead but Derrick Alinda drew the hosts level for a first half score of 1-1.

Matovu restored KJT’s lead but Alinda followed closely with another equaliser.
Matovu had the last laugh however when he picked his third goal of the game just three minutes to the end as KJT took the day 3-2 winners.

The inaugural J-Super League is organised by Uganda Juniors League.
The league that will run during holidays, continues this weekend at the UJL Soccer Park in Nsambya.
