GEN. Elly Tumwiine could not stand it when organisers of the Western Night Concert slated for today at Steak Out referred to him as Major General on their posters.
GEN. Elly Tumwiine could not stand it when organisers of the Western Night Concert slated for today at Steak Out referred to him as Major General on their posters.
Infuriated, the general who is advertised as one of the singers from western Uganda for the day demanded that they print new posters bearing his real title.
The organisers from Face 2 Face entertainment hurriedly ripped off all the posters that had been pinned throughout the city for fear of facing Tumwine’s wrath. They had to dole out another sh1.5m to print new posters with the correct title in the centre piece.
Satisfied, Tumwine confirmed his performance. He will perform alongside Juliana Kanyomoozi, Angela Katatumba, Eddy Rush, Sister Charity and Rwandese Cultural dancers.
