BISHOP McLister High School are determined to build on last year’s success and dominate the Coca-Cola Schools Cup that kicks-off in Jinja today.

“We have put down a good strategy this time. And we are looking towards lifting the cup,” team coach Ali Tabuley said yesterday.

The Bushenyi champions caused a major surprise on their debut last year, before their dream run was halted by St Mary’s SS Kitende.

Tabuley has promised to perform more wonders. “This is not the McLister of last year. We have been working hard,” he stated yesterday.

They face an array of 53 district champions in the annual soccer competition sponsored to the tune of sh224m by Coca Cola.

The other favourites in the competition for secondary schools that runs until June 5 are St. Mary’s SS Kitende and Kampala region representatives Old Kampala SS, Kibuli SS and Uganda Martyrs.
