MTN Heathens will be looking for a comprehensive victory against G4S Pirates to keep alive their hopes of finishing second in the Guinness Rugby League today.

Unbeaten uganda telecom Kobs wrapped up the league title with a sounding victory over Heathens last week, that left them with only pride to fight for.

If coach-player Peter Magona, Faisal Gamma, Geoffrey Okello, Robert Seguya and Ronald Mwisaki are able to penetrate the Pirates defence, then Heathens should be able to avoid a second defeat to the same side.

Pirates enter the field with a psychological advantage after beating Heathens 16-8 in the first round.

In that encounter, 2005 rugby champions Heathens came close to victory, but it was only Pirates who still had fuel in their tank in the final minutes of the game.

Pirates coach Herbert Wafula will again call on heavy weights Brian Makalama, Henry Rujumba and Bobby Bibagamba to lead his pack.

The Pirates go into this game after a splendid 26-10 victory over the Rhinos last week.

Champions Kobs are expected to improve on their 41-3 first round victory over Buffaloes today.
