SIR — Many Bafumbira boys aged 10-15 years are hawkers on Kampala streets. These children should be in school.
Instead, they are hawking phone jackets, belts and sandals.

The Government established the Universal Primary Education and Universal Secondary Education to benefit such children.

Kampala City Council should arrest these children and hand them to the education officers in their home region so that Uganda’s future generation is educated.
